tonight I tried a new dish, Beans Thoren. This is a south Indian dish from the Karala region that unusually used a little uncooked rice to give the dish a little crunch – a little textural interest, so to speak. Actually I tell a lie, because I cooked PEAS Thoren, but it’s the same dish. I’ll post the full recipe later. As I said on the diary post, I’m just learning this terrific blogging system….!
I thought I’d reply to my owm old comment here. After all, I’m just learning this blog stuff. I said I’d post the recipe for Beans Thoren, and I haven’t yet, but I’ll jig up the recipe category and post two tomorrow.
